By accessing and using the CushLabs OS Dashboard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is an internal operations tool owned and operated by Robert Cushman ("CushLabs"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
The CushLabs OS Dashboard is an internal operations tool that displays live data from the GitHub API alongside business context stored in the operator's own repositories. The dashboard itself requires authentication via GitHub OAuth and is restricted to an allowlist of authorized accounts.
Two surfaces are public and require no sign-in: the landing page and the demo page at /demo. The demo runs on fabricated sample data. Nothing shown there reflects real repositories, revenue, clients, or infrastructure, and it must not be relied on as a representation of any actual business.
Access to the dashboard requires a valid GitHub account, successful OAuth authentication, and membership of the allowlist. The Service requests the read:user and repo OAuth scopes; the second carries write access, for the reason given in section 5. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub credentials, and you can revoke the Service's access at any time from your GitHub settings. CushLabs reserves the right to revoke access at any time without notice.
The Service fetches repository data from the GitHub API using the access token provided during authentication, and uses it solely to render the dashboard. All processing occurs server-side within Vercel's infrastructure. There is no database and the data is never sold, licensed, or shared with advertisers.
Some data is retained. Several API responses are cached on the server for up to two hours, error and performance data is sent to Sentry, and the Infrastructure view sends monitored hostnames to third-party certificate lookup services. The Privacy Policy sets out each of these precisely and is the governing statement of what happens to data. Where these terms and that policy disagree, the Privacy Policy controls.
One feature writes to GitHub. Editing a project's tags in the Links view commits the updated links.json file to this application's own repository using your access token, attributed to your GitHub account, and triggers a deployment.
Editing a tag is therefore a git commit made in your name, not a local preference. It is permanent in the repository history, and you are responsible for the content you enter. No other action in the Service writes anything to GitHub.
The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is the proprietary property of Robert Cushman. All rights reserved. Unauthorized copying, modification, or distribution is prohibited.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. CushLabs does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the data displayed will be accurate at all times. Data accuracy depends on the GitHub API.
In no event shall CushLabs be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service.
CushLabs reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
